Event Token has created an innovative event solution, which aims to “cut out the middleman”: The digital wallet for admission tickets, event currency, onsite communication and gamification based on blockchain technology was developed by bbv in collaboration with the customer.

Wits its app of the same name, the Event Token start-up offers a mobile wallet for events, such as open-air gatherings, festivals or concerts. Using the blockchain application, organisers can orchestrate their event from a web-based dashboard – from widget configuration to staff management through to billing. The start-up’s mobile app provides visitors with access to the event, allows them to top up in their own currency in the form of tokens, and also use the tokens to pay right away.

The app was developed in agile collaboration with the bbv team in Vietnam. The project manager and product owner at Event Token had a direct bbv contact in Vietnam.
